Default my first fab.

Just kind of dinked around with some fiberglass/bondo/nylon took me about 4 hours to make. I couldnt get the finish right so I vinyled it. It looks like it sticks up hella but it really doesnt.

^^ this is a really bad angle and it makes it look like it sticks way up above the dash but it doesnt stick up at all when you sit up.

anywho I posted this a while back in another board. I would really love to make this out of c/f if someone could let me know how to work with thats stuff that would be great!

you definitely have mucho potential, thats for sure. Good job on the cover.

Just a suggestion since it looks like you have the cover part down pat and incorporate the cover onto the dash piece that you attached it to.

I'm more impressed with the upholstery work than the actual moling work!

Did you do that!?

I did not do the upholstry. I wish I had and I gave it a good shot but just didnt turn out. I took it to a shop called "custom fx" in washington on pacific ave. They've done some freaking amazing stuff and I knew they wouldnt let me down.

I asked if they could do it seamless and he said probably not so I drew on it with a marker where to make the seams.

It looks good stitched.

Makes it look expensive

How much did they charge you to cover it?

lay down foil on your dash then lay fiberglass and resin over that.
