D15b conversion wiring help
I have the Evasive motorsports obd0-obd1 conversion harness. it tells me which colors rep which wires, but i dont know where to put some of them. ie... check ingion light wire, knock sensor(does d15b vtec have one), and the ones that are grounds n power for stuff, do they go to 12v and a ground, or to the actual spot that needs a ground or power wire, thanks for the help.

check engine light wire is just used to flash your check engine light on your gauge cluster i used a toggle switch with that wire and when ever i get a check engine light i flip the switch and count the flashes to see what the problem is not sure bout the knock sensor though

excellent idea! alot easier than jumping the terminals everytime you get a CEL!

the check engine wire doesnt go anywhere but to a switch, goto a parts store and pick up a toggle switch, wire the check engine wire to the acc of the switch, and ground the other, the harness should have a ground for it. This comes in handy, just like the others said, so all you do is flip the switch, look at your cel and waahhhzaamm tells you whats wrong. I just did this swap, im still working out many bugs, not really sure what the hell is wrong, it doesnt feel like 130 hp to me.
This is exactly why it sucks to buy from a middle man and save a few bucks. They don't have a clue and leaves you the same way.
The check engine light wire just needs to be grounded. The knock sensor does not exist on that ecu setup. The 12v power wires, etc are probably for the O2 sensor.
