anyone have problems with autometer egt gauge?

mine works fine one time and the next time it goes crazy and then stops dead. if i take it out and wipe it off it works fine. then goes crazy.
wtf?

Sounds like an electrical problem. Check to see if the wires aren't grounding out somewhere.

mine did the same thing...it just went crazy ...i just installed better ground wires in my engine bay and it went away...
