Default What clutch to use on daily driven turbo ITR

Im looking for a good clutch to put in my turbo itr. Clutch must be strong, dependable and able to be used daily driven. Car isnt putting down crazy hp #s, but strong enough to eat through my stock clutch. I have searched but havent found enough info to make me happy. What are you guys using on your cars?

Been checking out Exedy stage 2 or clutchmasters stage 3

I would go with a CM stage 3 or possibly RPS for longivity. CM stage 3 is a really good clutch and i've seen it handle 400bhp on an integra. Just stick with a stock flywheel and you won't have any idle problems.

Id recomend the Action 2KS. Alot of people on the board have had sucess with this clutch as well as myself. The 2KS is basically an 8 puck clutch that has a full kevlar face. It has double the pedal pressure, can hold somewhere in the area of 375hp, and has the smooth engagement/no chatter qualities of a stock clutch because of the full kevlar face. Its a great clutch for daily driving and weekends at the track. If you decide that you want one, then hit me up and I can get you a good price.

I like the RPS street max, and the EXEDY 8950 Stage II cerametallic. Stage 3s and above on most of the clutches have too harsh an engagement, and is not enjoyable to drive daily.

Yeah they do rate clutches based on %increase in tq i believe. I have moderate tq #s as well. Running a t28 on 6lbs of boost so nothing crazy.

i really like my 2ks as well. I had no problems when my car was boosted, it was holding 285whp and 195wtq....smooth engagement and slightly stiffer pedal feel

If your thinking about the CM stage 3 then Id recommend the stage 4. The pedal pressure of the stage 4 is a joke, it feels as soft as stock and engagement feels identical to stage 3. Same price too.

I wish I had gone with a clutch that has a stiffer pedal.

Yeah theyre usually rated in torque, but when I met with Alex from Action, he gave me the rating of 375 Hp.
