Can i use stock valves???

Default Can i use stock valves with....

I am planning on putting a Ls head together with Crower 404's and Crower Valvesprings and retainers but i was wondering can i use stock valves or should i just upgrade to aftermarket valves.

Stock valves will be fine as long as they are in good shape. I would at least get a valve job done though. Aftermarket valves can net more power but the difference would be minimal. It's all in the valve job.

yea no need to replace ur valves. i just installed CROWER 403 cams in my car with crowe valve springs and retainers. no need for new valves

what about the fact of the valves now traveling farther with the new lift of the cam. I have heard that the stockers get polished in the area of the valve seals where they traveled before, and the could possible leak after that.
