Default putting in new valves

I will be replacing my vlaves soon. I was going to take the valves and get a 3 angle valve job done for 10/valve

I am able to buy new valves at ~11/valve normal 18/valve performance

I already have new unused valve seals. I am competent in my ability to remove and reistall valves. is there anythign i am missing? or anything i should be aware of?

for just a little more money I can get new valaves and that sounds like a good thing.

I would get the new valves.. Your going to need to take the head and have the 3 angle job done on it.. I would also upgrade the springs and retainers while your in there..

i was told the valves are ready to be dropped in and do not need to be cuut (3 angle job)

I don't plan on reving the **** out the car so stock valve train will be fine. I have a bent valve and need the engine running again.

would anything be wrong with just replacing the seals and putting in new valves?

You just need to lap the new valves into the head..

for the price of stock valves getting a valve job i can get new valves.

I think the lapping idea is a good one. any more info on lapping.

that is just to give the valves a good seat against the head correct?

Correct.. Just get some lapping compound and a lapping tool and go at it.. When your ready IM me and ill give you directions of how to do it.. If your replacing the valve seals then its easiest to lap them when the valve seals are off the head..
