h22 swap won't start
i have 96 civic cx, i swap the engine to a h22a4 1999 i used civic si wire harness, skunk2 wire converter from obd2-obd1, p13 ecu. i checked every ground wire and check all my connection and still the engine don't turn can any one help me with all info on a swap step by step so i can compare to see what i'm doing wrong...
Is the car cranking...does it click on the turn of the ignition...more info needed in order for anyone to help.

i'm using 99 civic si wire harness. i checked all the grounds and still jujst a click and don't start i bypass the starter and the engine still didn't turn
Why do you think a B16A2 wiring harness is going to run an H22A4 engine? You need to wire up a resistor box for the fuel injectors, for starters, and you should probably make sure any extraneous sensors are getting information back to the ECU.

Don't you just extend the 'b16 wires' to the corresponding sensor and add in a resistor box/wiring? Never did this particular swap but you guys are making this sound like the two harnesses are very forien to eachother????

THERE IS A LOT OF LIKE CONNECTORS BUT YOU NEED BOTH WIRING HARNESSES TO WORK WITH I HAD TO GO THREW SAME THING BUT IT WAS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME . GET A HARNESS MADE FROM HASPORT
that is the only thing i didn't do was the resistor box. does any resistor box from any honda/acura work. i'll let ya know what happen when i connect the resistor box

THANKS FOR THE INFO BUD - BUT WHEN YOU TYPE IN CAPS ON THE INTERNET IT'S LIKE YOUR YELLING AT SOMEONE!
Just so ya know
'sall good.
yeah, doesn't sound overly hard if your comfortable with wiring schematics.
i'm pretty sure all resistor boxes will work the same, you might be able to find one from an older accord at the bone yard pretty easy. unclip the injectors and cut off that whole part of the engine harness, that way you'll keep everything clean.
