Default OT..But ITR Forum Rocks!

Just have a general Question. I noticed fresh oil on my drive way everytime my G/F parked her car in my driveway. She took the car to the dealership and they told her that they found the leak coming from the head gasket. Her car is a lease and was I wondering if this is something to worry about. I'm no gear head and i'm not sure what is exactly involved in fixing this problem. She is thinking about buying the lease out next year. Do you think its worth keeping knowing this was a problem. The car is 2002 Mercedes C240 '

Thanks for the help

Is the car under warranty? That can be a pretty extensive service if it is a head gasket leak. A good portion of the engine needs to come off in order to replace it.

Being that the car is only ~2 years old, I assume it's still under warranty? Make the dealership fix the problem.
