ok so all u guys with the EG civics with jdm clusters. i went to install mine today and once i went to put the jdm cluster in there were two connectors from the old cluster that had no plugs in the jdm one. one is the air-bag connector and im not sure what the other is. the cluster works fine all the lights were on and the gauges were wokring. do i not need these two connectors? thanks for the help

you can install the srs light from your old oem cluster in to your jdm one some people say that if the srs plug isnt pluged in ur airbag wont go off
kinda like how if your emergency lights switch isnt pluged in you cant signal
there is a thread if you search that lists how to install it

 

the install seems fairly easy but does anyone know for sure if the airbags will or will not work without the light plugged in. I like the jdm cluster but im not that much of a jdm freak to give up airbags. thanks for the help guys

 

some say yes some say no if you try giving honda a call maybe they can clear things up
and if you do post up what they say i am very interesed on finding out the verdict cause i ditched my jdm cluster cause i wanted my airbag
