Default GSR Block Reconmendation Sleeves for turbo

I'm planning to build a gsr motor for turbo. i plan to sleeve the block and hone it out to a 2.0 block with the stock strokes. let me know if the block will hold and will the torque be there. also what type or should i say brand of sleeves do u guys reconmend me putting in for a turbo block boosting around 10-20 psi (is is just a guess of psi but it will be around there). i'm trying to run low 12's or even if possible mid 11's.

Around here people will say go Benson, last year they would have said Golden Eagle. but really, a local machine shop can sleeve your motor. however Benson comes with a great warranty.

I have had good luck with Golden Eagle, and Darton MID2 Sleeves. If I had to do it all over again I would go Benson, not only for the fast turn around time, but the service you get from Earl and Benson. They don't dick you around and if there is a problem they fix it. No questions asked.

2.0 with a GSR crank would be atleast 85MM, and you don't want to run an 85MM bore with a GSR. Try and use a specific bore, like 83 or 84MM.

Also, people are going low 12's on stock GSR shortblocks. If you want to go that fast most I would do is new pistons and rods, with ARP hardwear all around.

84mm would be the best size for a turbo application. With our MID kit you can push as much boost as you can at 84mm.
