Default Check Engine Light

I just put in some new reverse glow gauges in my 98 Civic EX. The gauges work fine and everything is working fine but my check engine light is on. I remember seeing someone else have this problem, how do I fix it?

My gas needle is towards E and i jsut filled up my car a few days ago, will the needle go back to where it should be or do I have to fiz it myself?

You have a bigger problem than you think you do. You had to take off the needles to change the gauge faces correct? Well if you didnt mark where they were before you took them off then they are all off now. Sorry I can't help you past there. Anyone else?

Was your check engine light on before?

You probally had to remove the needles to put those guages in didn't you? If so, then you probally broke your guage.

How did you put the gauges in? And like said above did you take the needles off?

Thing with the gas might be because the needles werent off or they were and they were moved from the spot they were at so there off. Do they move at all?

If your CEL is on, check if its actually throwing a code, because that shouldnt have anything to do with glow gauges.

Did you touch the gas needle at all when you were doing this?

to put your needles back into place. First fill up the car all the way up and put the needle on the gas tank in the full position. Then let the car warm up and put the needle in the position it was in before when the car was warm. for the RPMs put the needle in when the car is idle at the position it was supposed to be in before. And for the spedometer have some one go like 40mph next to you and put in the needle at 40 mph.

I never did this, I read about someone doing this when they were converting their normal si cluster to canadian SIR or some **** like that.
