86mm bore on boosted b20 dartblock will it last?
I scuffed up my B20 dartMID-block pretty bad yesterday.
...due to poor tuning as a result I have no choice but to bore out my walls to 86mm......I have dart sleeves but I'm not sure if they can handle the pressure under boost.????

Had darton MID sleeves in the wifeys car at 84.5mm and I had to bore them to 86 after an accident. After a few miles leakdown kept going up and up, compression down and down, I think the cylinders went out of round. I would not run 86 + boost for a street car.
As a sidenote, arn't you glad you followed the trend, and ran 84.5MM bore so that you could get that 150 CC's of extra displacement over and 81.5, 82, or even 83MM motor? Good luck, but I would see the block to a N/A guy and get a new one sleeved.
