Default Civic HX primary o2 sensor

Curious to see if anyone knows of a way to use a EX/DX/LX 4 wire primary o2 sensor on a HX manual trans. Apparently the HX manual has a 5 wire primary and the HX auto has a 4 wire primary. I got a new OEM style for free and would like to use it if possible since the OEM 5 wire is more than I would ever spend.

4-wire sensors generate a voltage on their own.

5-wire, or true wideband sensors, NEED controlling circuity to make the sensor work as well as make any sense of its output.

So, no, there is no way to make a 4-wire O2 work with the m/t HX ECU.
