Default Please HELP!

This is my situation...started up the car this morning and the car wouldnt start, tryed jumping it(nothing), wont even crank, so i noticed that there was some acid corrossion on the + terminal(cleaned all that up), still wouldnt start...so we pushed the car back on reverse and popped the clutch and it started right up...tonight, the same **** happens but i noticed that the brake lights stayed on WITHOUT actually been pressed on...dont know what to do, put the E brake down, the light was still on! Im sure thats the problem for the car not turning on, was thinking about buying a new battery but i believe its just the brake line light staying on and draining the battery...

What do you guys think? What should i do? Want to take to this mechanic down the road but want to have some type of idea of what im dealing with...sorry for the long story, just wanted to let u all know the lil prob im having...i cant fix it myself cuz i have no time, work 2 jobs full time...

Any help would be appreciated!

If you have not time then every time you park open the hood and remove the HORN / brake fuse.

so then your lights will not turn on .. the problem is the brake light switch on the brake foot pedal.

Well a normal car battery if you let it drain all the way may just not take a charge anymore since they are not deep cycle type.

Now check the foot pedal area of your car and try to see some obvious problem like a the boot is caught in the way.

also get your battery charged or replaced. check what the voltage accross the battery is. I bet its lower then 9 you will need to try to get a charger and charger it over night.

KRAEGAN Auto Parts checks your battery and will even charge it up if needed for FREE.

i took it to this shop close by and it happened to be the switch by the brake boot pedal that was torn...replaced that, brake light doesnt stay on...car still doesnt start...we tryed everything, from jumping, charging the battery, checking wires, ect...seems to be some type of electrical problem...apparently some loose wire that connects to the starter...the mechanic said the starter is fine, but he couldnt figure out what the prob was for the car not starting, told me to take to an electrical auto shop...

any ideas?

Main relay perhaps. Also, check for bad or missing ground wires.
