id do that. unless u know someone who can weld aluminum, then id go for the fill it with weld then drill and tap it. there was a thread about this not to long ago and alot of people had great suggestions of what to do and they had pictures of it.

make sure you get it done asap, for example i could never figure out why my 2nd and 5th gear always act funny/slip out of gear from time to time...when i did my motor swap i notice that one of the bolt on the tranny was gone/broken....so i think 2 out of the 3 bolts will not hold the tranny good/strong and it could possible grind the gears over time?....

if youre going to just run two bolts on it for now, find a bolt that can "plug" the other hole... because if u peak in the hole u can see the gears... u dont want dirt in there
i been running with 2 bolts and its still fine.... but theres a lot of stress marks that develop on the tranny over time.

My tranny (91 ls cable) has been running with only 2 holes for a while with a perfomance clutch, no probs yet. Mine is missing top tranny bolt, i see no gears though just a chunk of missing housing, it enough to make you wanna spit though. I need a gsr tranny anyway. I'm going to run it til it dies. if the other bottom hole gives, as long as it's not bad, I could still limp home with a very animated engine and tranny.
