Hondata and irregular idle....
Does anyone have this problem as well? I get massive idle surge once my car is warm, almost to the point of dying. I have tried 3 IACV's and which did absolutelly nothing. Is this a thing with Hondata? My car is fully tuned running 1,000cc injectors. If I make a pass at the track or come to a stop after driving the car idles dead solid where it should, but a few seconds later the surging begins again. I am clueless as to what this can bee.

My car does the same thing with the AEM. Its steady when cold but once coolant temperature rises past a certain point it starts to surge. I'm pretty sure its in the tune like Mase said.
[Don't know about his a/f ratio but mine fluctuates between 14.7 and 12.5 during the surging. I also don't have O2 feedback enabled right now so that might be causing it.

the cells are probably not linear and causing surges</TD></TR></TABLE>
Thanks... I'll tell Shawn that and see if he can narrow it down.
So when are you headed down to SoCal again?

could be lean, my does it if the car is running for a long period of time then it starts to lean out, its in the tune, with hondata its where the coolant temp number that can be changed. also, on normal stock honda' s with idle serges was due to a air bubble in the coolant system or somebody played with the idle screw.

You should come back. I, for one, need a street tune
Well I just checked and my af ratio goes from 13 ish at idle to completely off the charts on the lean side of the AEM gauge then oscillates back and forth. It then eventually dies. I noticed this only happens after the radiator fans have cycled at least once. If the brake pedal is pushed then the surge stops.

I am not sure, I don't have a wideband. The weather is pretty crappy here now so i guess I have till next season to figure it out
Mase, what would show up on the maps if it was in fact the tune?

You mean as far as injector pulsewidth?

Sup Mase I was Wondering You Going to be Working ON my H Block With Anthony? I was the Guy He was Tuning me civic with Last weekend...When we had all type of trouble since my motors a pos... Lol BUt I was Wondering I heard some Great Stuff about you two.
Here's my map. I know for a fact I screwed up the O2 feedback target map but again O2 feedback isn't being used right now. This was tuned by Shawn Church.
