well sounds like the caliper piston when its pushing the pad against the rotor its not retracting and so its holding it against the rotor. Maybe time for new calipers.

When I was changing out my pads my front 2 pistons came out. After I got the pistons back in, only the front 2 pads were slowing my car down.

I just went out and broke them in. Brake until you're almost completely stopped then let off, you should smell the brakes and maybe it will help to get them settled in right.

This worked for me. If you need the exact procedure let me know.

Well, if the problem just developed after changing the pads it is more likely that the pads just need breaking in. It could be too that the slides need lubrication too. You could apply some grease to them. Like someone else mentioned, it could be a sticky or partial siezed caliper if you perhaps compressed it at a bad angle to get the new pads on the front. On the rears be careful to adjust the piston so it isn't too close to the rotor or it will rub. The problem is the adjustment can only be made in 1/4 turn increments by rotating the the piston caliper.
