Re: Changing the brake pads (athoughts)
A.) year, make, model, brake setup, front or rear, disc or drum?
B.) the pads might very well be side and up-down specific.
C.) can you take pictures for us?
D.) what do you mean you can get one in but when you try to put the other one in they pop out? I have no idea how you can do that. Is the caliper mounting cradle bolted to the hub? If not, you're doing it wrong. If so, the pads don't touch and shouldn't effect each other.

what do you mean it pops out?
1. just unbolt the lower side of the caliper, loosen the upper bolt and swing the caliper up.
2. take out the old brake pads
3. install the new ones
4. compress the piston back into place in the caliper.
5. lower caliper back over brake pads, rebolt into place.
easy as that.

Re: (suprmods)
93 coupe, disk brakes
I took the caliper just completly off rather then just losing the top and swinging it up.
The problem lies in just putting the pad in... i cant get the fking thing in the clips, it just keeps poping out, i got the first pad in once, and when i went to compress the piston a little to get the other one in, they both just came out and i have to start over.
my back, legs, and arms hurt now and im just getting pissed...
thanks for the help tho, im going back out to try again.

Is the cap off of your brake master cylinder? Also, the pads, like I said, are side and orientation-specific, so if you can't get them on it's because you're trying to put them on the wrong sides or upside down.
This isn't rocket science. If you can't figure out how to change brake pads, please don't try and do anything else to your car. People like you keep people like me in business. Thanks in advance

they should just slip in to place. Compress the piston all the way in the caliper first. put the pads in place against the rotor and squeeze them into place against the rotor. then slide the caliper back over them. its easiest if the piston is all the way back in the caliper.
