slight hesitation when quick shifting
i noticed that im having a slight hesitation and a slight bog when i shift gears and immediately press on the gas. i checked the fuel filter, changed the plugs, and all necessary minor tuneups done, but it still does this. i havent checked my fuel pressure yet, but i dont have any other fuel related issues while regualr driving or at WOT. maybe an injector is shot? bad fuel pump? hmmm any ideas?
you checked the rest of your electrical or just changed the plugs? Am I wrong when I say there are only two kinds of fuel pumps a good one and a bad one? probably start small and work your way through it, but what do I know Im a newb

throttle cable is fine... injectors seem to be in working order. im stumped on this one... and im sure its probably something so simple, but i cant figure it out. back to square one. once i pass smog and put the turbo kit back on, maybe it will go away. it could be turbo withdrawals. lol

TPS sensor measuring correct voltage. I had similar issues that continued to escalate and my TPS sensor took a crap on me. I could open the throttle plate all the way and nothing would happen becasue it was not sending any kind of voltage increase to the ECU. Just something to look out for.

hey sorry to bring up the past, and yes im a newbie too so dont bash but... The other day I was messing with vacume lines near my map sensor to the intake manifold...on my b16a1... i swaped a few lines and got a horrible bog/lag after my shifts getting back on the throttle.. swaped them back and it was fine...if this at all seems possible PM me and i'll give you details on exactly which vacume lines im talking about

not the problem.
thatbluecrx,
could be... i'll look into it. i capped my vacuum lines when i took off the turbo... but the problem was somewhat there when i had the turbo installed. i'll see if it has anything to do with that.
