Why are you asking us if it's worth it? Regardless of what anyone of us thinks, you'll still get it if you want it. Make up your OWN mind. You'll get farther in life.

Everyone should memorize this and think abou it for 5 minutes before they post ANYTHING. Learn it, love it, live by it.

i'd have to say no on the 4th gear... becuse more than likely you will be using 4th gear when drag racing at the track, especially with the b16 ratios.. but 5th!? if you race in 5th gear you're a moron (i'm talking about high speed on the freeway) now if your all motor car hits 5th at the track, wow!!

i have a ls 5th gear for the freeway mileage with b16 1-4

a taller 5th gear wont really get you better fuel economy. Only if 85% of your driving is on the highway will it help.
