Car wouldn't start, smell of gas....now runs good?? Whats the problem??
a few days ago the car would start right, I could get the key to turn over and crank up and then it would run for 2-3 secounds and cut off..there was also a smell of gas
now it seems the whole problem disappeared...car cranks fine, no gas smell, and runs as normal
just wondering what the deal is? Spark plugs? Main Relay? Ignitor?
ooopps all most forgot its a 1990 Integra GS with no engine mods

I had similar problems with my 92' a few years back. Turned out to be a bad/cracked injector. I replaced all 4 + new seals to be safe. Check around your fuel rail for any wetness the next time you smell it. It is probably dry from the last time.
ok I will def check that
Also its not throwing a CEL
I talked someone and I dunno this is true but they said older Hondas or notorious for the engine flooding sometimes easily and thats its not a problem...that doesn't seem right to me though

I never had a CEL when mine F'ed up. Just a bit of a gas smell. When I saw the gas I had to have it towed to get it fixed.
I don't know about the flooding thing. I could be wrong, but I thought it was kind of hard to flood a fuel injected engine. I have had my car for 12+ years, and never flooded it.
