i didn't want to bother H-T the past month cause i figured i could find the problem myself on the search function....however...when you type in white smoke...you get alot of different answers...so i aplogize...but i had to make my own topic.

anway, i've been getting the occasional white smoke at idle. i was told to check my radiator to see if it was bubbling...cause it could be head gasket....but no...and i actually never had an over heating problem. so i figured it couldn't be that. the next thing to check was compression.

the results were 230/230/210/230

asyou can see cylinder 3 is off by 20...but the compresssion is still really high.

motor still runs strong...but my a/f meter reads really green. would running rich make white smoke?

the white smoke smells good...addictive almost. so i'm assuming its fuel.

i have no kink in the oil lines.

my motor is jdm b16. bought from hmotors 6 months ago.

my turbo is a fmax kit...but ditched the piggy back and running 450 dsm, and chrome program

turbo is turbonetic.

oh...a little history on the turbo kit i bought. it was used for 10 miles before it blew the motor. i then bought it 3 yrs later. so do u th ink the turbo sitting for 3 yrs could have worn the seals?

well..the c omputer is starting to freeze on me...so i have to go...thanks for your help in advance.

oh..the motor has only been boosted for 2800 miles.

if your a/f meter is an narrowband then it is crap. Your compression seems fine to me.
