K20A swap in a DC2: Thoughts and suggestions please
I did a search and only found eg and ek swaps.
Thinking of doing this in my DC2. I've got a JDM ITR swap in it now. Are there any kits and what all is required? If anyone has a link to a thread post it here. Thanks in advance.

would an aftermarket oil pan help? I wonder if they make ones with better ground clearances. I doubt it though since an aftermarket is supposed to be designed for MORE oil capacity = larger tank. I dont' think the clearance issues would be worse than lets say... a 4-1 exhaust manifold?

The problem with the info that I found is that it was from April and the earlier months of the year. It's September now. I was just looking for some up-to-date information and new products that weren't available back then.
Thanks for all of the replies

I've also been wondering about the oil pan clearance. I mean, I don't have the money anyway, but if I were ever GOING to do it, that would be my primary concern.

and PS...
but is that really a concern?
I would say from all the cars i have seen oil pan clearance is about 5-6 inch's maybe a little more. I don't think it is all that bad. You just have to remember that it is there.
The EG and DC kit has better axle angle, and is placed a few inches further back and higher in the engine compartment, giving it a slight advantage over the EK kit in oil pan clearance (this is because of the steering rack and front crossmember in the EK), and also in weight distribution. It also helps if you are doing a K24 swap and you need the little extra room.

This is a pdf version of the instructions you get when you buy the hasport mounts.
Save as
http://www.k20a.org/EGK1.pdf for 92-95 EG
http://www.k20a.org/EKK1.pdf 96+ EK
I found the instuctions here :
http://hasport.com/Tech/Hasport%20.htm
and mirrored them on my server
Thank you hasport for taking the time to outline the swap. Also I like how they take the time to include which size tool you need for each step.
