I have a 96 hb with b18c1 swap...just put a new fuel pump in(Walbro 255) and car ran fine for a few days and tonight it starting bogging super bad and finally it died and wont start again...Im getting spark and I can hear fuel pump come on but it wont turn over. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also I think O2 sensors are not wired correctly because Im throwing O2 codes and CEL was on prior to fuel pump install. My spark plugs also had oil on them .

Are all the engine grounds making a good connection?

thermostat
Head
Tranny.
Also it could be the main relay

 

If the O2 sensor isnt wired up that wouldnt cause your car not to start. Check your fuses, mainly this one:




Does the car even crank or it doesnt even do that? Also oil on spark plugs is never a good sign. How old is the motor and where did you get it from? run a compression test.

Thats just all the stuff i would do off the top of my head. Hope that helps.

 

the check engine light flashing is a mifire related code. actually it is a catalyst harming failure. just if you needed toknow why it is flashing.
