Clunking noise in springs....
I know this is in the wrong forum but no one seems to help me. I drive a 99 prelude. However, the question pertains to my girl friends car. She drives a 2004 civic lx. I just installed some Tein S. Tech springs and Everything is all bolted and installed correctly. But everytime she turn it makes this clunking sound. Clunk clunk clunk. (Good sound effects) Maybe the springs are trying to turn with the car or maybe some bolts are too tight? Never ran in to this problem before. Any help or input at all would be great. Maybe its the alignment? No one would help in the civic forum so please. Thanks
check the lugs. Believe it or not I have gotten my tires rotated before and they had forgot to torque them down. Made a clunking noise and I was like WTF, so I pulled over and found that one of my lugnuts had fallen off. I'm damn lucky the wheel didn't.
