the restrictor plate is under the throttle body cover right. cuz if it is i took that out so all i would need is a d15b2 cam and ecu and i can gain 20hp in theory?

i have a d15b1 but i dont have that "turbo manifold/cat combo", thats wierd so i should have like an HF exhaust manifold.

The d13a2 (not a typo) made in 1987 was the last carbed civic motor. The fuel pressure is 3 psi. It used a mechanical fuel pump.

You are correct. They simplified everything for the 90-91's and stopped making that header-cat combo for the Sexually Transmitted D-Series a.k.a. D15B1. However, the engine did not change so you can put the 90-91 cat-under-the-car style on your 88-89 although it doesn't make a difference in anything.

i have the b1 but from 88

My b1 has the turbo-looking manifold too. And boy does that cam stop making anything happen after 6.2k. OOOO boy. ::dies::
