Default HID question

I just wanna know if the philip hid kit 4300 is a good kit and worth buying or is the 6000 better? Is there any people out there that have it and can post up some pics of beam of light. And are there any other kits out there you guys might recomend over the philip kit please let me know thanks

anything above 4100-4300k is a waste of money. if you can retrofit hid projectors they will have better results, but if you cant stick with the 4300 kit.

doesn't the 41 - 43 has a not so color to it. the 60's have the purple and blueish look. The jdm HID is 4100k i believe and that is just plain white, but HID white. Correct me if im wrong.

4100-4300 is the color of all oem hid applications. the purple bluish look that comes from certain oem cars is because of the projector and optics not the bulb itself.

4100-4300k after many hrs the bulbs will end up being a little bluer because of burn in time. dont expect the same blue/purple flicker like how audi/bmw/mbz cars have

going with those 6k+ kits is mainly for looks. at 4300k there is optimal light output.

My headlights have an awesome blue/purple flicker.

But I also have Mercedes bi-xenon projectors w/ OEM Philips D2S 4100K bulbs.

Integras use 9006/9005 separate low and high beams.

E55 projectors are probably the easiest to fit in Integra headlights. The overall length and lens diameter match the stock projectors almost exactly. You don't have to do any drilling on the projector itself, or use any spacers or anything. Just cut off the stock projector, enlarge the hole some, and mount the HID projector's mounting flange directly onto the Integra headlight bracket.

I swear patrick if my teg doesn't sell so I can get my s2k then I'm gonna get my hids and be messaging you for e-mailed pics of everything you got on your retrofit that way I can see if mine looks right. Its just so sexy to look at I almost and I mean "almost" want to rape you and have babies with you so that way you'll be obligated to do my retrofit because we'll share children together..... hahahaha

anyways on a serious note: That does look good and your lights do have a bomb *** look to them.

um wow uh yikes thnx anyway

yeah it's really not that hard, just takes some time and patience w/ a hacksaw and dremel, and just place the projector in there, line up the top edge so that it's parallel to the top of the bracket, mark and drill holes, and attach the projector into place. Looks factory from the outside AND as well as under the hood, and all stock headlight adjustments are retained.

4300K kit will do you fine.

I have that currently in my car (from xenondepot.com).
Waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the original output. But that's obvious.

No where perfect like a stock OEM HID equipped car.

But it's good. You'll save more money in the long run too.

Did you read what I said?

4300K Hid kits available for 9600 applications will produce output that is nowhere as PERFECT compared to cars equipped with OEM HIDs (ex: BMWs, LEXUS, etc.)

If you want me to elaborate, I will:
For one thing, our projectors are Halogen-based projectors and are not meant for HIDs. This is the reason why MTK Kommander, Skafia, Patrick, to name a few have opted to retrofit their headlights.

A 4300K "kit" in our headlights will produce 3x more the light output, but on the ground, you will notice "hotspots" which are concentrated light outputs. Now in OE equipped HID cars, they have none of what I just mentioned. Our halogen-based projectors will also produce some cutoff, however, there will be noticable minimal glare.

When I meant "PERFECT", I meant sharp cutoff, crisp evenly spread light output on the ground.

If you would like to learn more, please refer to the link in my signature.

Thank you and have a nice day!
