crank pulley installation
aight i want to get a new crank pulley for my b16 so...
how hard is the installation? is it just take bolt off put new pulley on tighten i know it has to be lined up
i will never run ac or power steering so i just need one belt i was planning on....

but i am planning to supercharge it before x-mas so what pulley does the sc belt run off of?????

i have reset timing a few times once on a civic but i really didnt care i just took the spark plug out stuck a socket extension in there and turned the crank till the extension was as high up as it would go...that wasnt a good way so...

Yeah, once you remove the 17 or 19 mm bolt and the washer behind, you'll see a pin. If you look closely you can see it on the ebay pic. Picture a clock and look at 4:00. The bottom part of the timing belt cover has a mark on it, line up the crankpulley with that. Line up the cam pulleys. The marks should be facing each other (parallel with head). Install belt and torque tensioner. Get a floor jack, this will help you reinstall the motor mount you removed. You can spin the crankpulley counterclockwise to test it before start-up. If it binds you didn't line everything up correctly. My first timing belt change took 5 hrs and i crossed my fingers before start-up.
