yes, its the USDM Hype-Rghhhh engine....and yes, you are retarded for wanting to put it into an accord....it doesnt make enough torque to push the heavy *** accord around.....throw in an H22....similar HP numbers, and shitloads more torque

if you put a b18c5 engine in your accord you'll probably run similar or a llliiittlllee faster times as you do now lol

no it would def be faster, plus you get high revving capabilities... i dont think it would be a bad idea to put in a built b18c5, but the money you spend on building a b18c5 could easily be put into building a monster h22a. obviously an h22a would be the better choice because it makes more power and costs half as much as a b18c5 swap. not to mention you dont have to worry about custom mounts and all that bullshit. b series in a 90+ accord is just not worth doing, so dont do it

even built b's cant make the same torque levels...not unless you did a monster bore and stroke job to it....but then of course youd loose the high rev.....wed be seing ALOT more h than b swaps in civs if a) engines were more available b) the swap was plug and play

Why not just turbo your "F" series engine - build it up and be done with it?

the swaps are more available.. i mean look at the price difference... you can get h's out of regular preludes... you have to get a b18c5 outta a type R only... at least thats how i see it.

whenever i get my new car (which will be a 96-00 civic hatch) ill tell you guys just how plug and play it is to get an h in there

New to honda's I take it? And if you complete this swap, you won't be killing any more V8's anytime soon.

he will if he puts the b18c in there...thats teh JDM hype argh one, and when you put it an accord, a secret gremlin pops out and helps push the pistons down really fast, and so then you get like 100+ horsepwoer....almost as much as z28 with the big tyres...VROOOMMM

the most "cost effective" way to make power in an accord is to turbo the F sereies motor...but that can lead to reliability issues.....
