oil in exhaust port..please read
my car smokes blue at idle..i was hoping it was the turbo but pulling the turbo and manifold off told me otherwise...there is oil in the exhaust port of number 1 and 3 cylinder...its only 1 one of the valves per cylinder...im wondering if its the seal or the valve guide... this motor is new only 300 miles or so.. and i built it myself the engine runs great and has great compression numbers..its a B20a from an older prelude..i just installed new valve seals and rebuilt the whole engine...any thoughts..thanks
I think that maybe you should recheck those vavle seals and see if they are properly seated. There are not that many places oil can come from to get into the exhaust ports.
