oil is on one electrode (cylinder farthest away from dizzy) but compression yeiled 125. what is the problem. are my rings shot ?

not nessecairly, you could just have a bad spark plug gasket. i had this problem with #3 cyl plug and i freaked. then i replaced the gaskets and it was fine ever since

 

the o-ring gaskets that or underneath the valve cover? is that what u replaced?

 

just put in a new plug

 

yes all 4 + the valve cover gasket

Tell me how that would relate to oil being on the electrode. Oil would be on the insulator if that was the case. If oil is leaking into the cylinder from above the spark plug the obviously something will be leaking out of that whole. Probably causing a fire or just blowing the spark plug out of the head.
