Ok so I think I've read enough to know that its the yellow and green wire. I am going to set this up tomorrow but wanted to make sure I had this all down.. minus the diagrams and numbers and all that...is this basically what to do?
1. Get a switch. Have a power and load wires, use thicker gauge wire the further from the actual splice.

2. Crimp the power wire to the yellow/green that goes to the front. Crimp the Load into the wire running into the pump

2. Basically your done.. try it and hope you dont blow any fuses.

What Im a lil confused about it after reading all these posts why do some say up the fuse to a 25 if its a 15? Is this a necesarry step? Thanks for any info.. seems like a rad idea.

</TD></TR></TABLE> All sounds good, but NEVER replace fuses with bigger ones then recomended, unless you are installing a bigger fuel pump there is no need to do that. 94

I just hooked up the switch with I think 18 gauge wire and didn't touch the fuses. Works like a charm.

It is extremely important to use a switch rated for automotive use (20A or higher). Using a lower rated switch will likely cause it to burn out in short time. I used a rocker switch from Radio Shack (part #275-730). Here is a good writeup on installing a kill switch...

http://www.courtlukens.com/cutoff_switch.htm

It is important to make sure all the connections are secure and that a properly rated switch is used. If any wiring comes loose or the switch burns out, power to the fuel pump will be cut off and your engine will then unexpectedly shut off. The results of this happening could potentially be catastrophic or even fatal!

</TD></TR></TABLE>I agree with the the above, I do have a problem with the write upwhen he says to replace the fuse, think about it, you have a elec.motor sitting in the GAS tank that is fused at 15 amps, you replace tha fuse with one that is 10 amps bigger, something gos wrong with fuel pump, talk about catastrophic

The other thing I have not seen mentioned on any posts about FP cut off is, instead of putting the switch in the fuel pump power wire,[ 20 amp switch needed] install a 3 amp switch on the ECU trigger wire to the fuel pump relay 94
