A friend of mine did that with a 90 degree elbow to his IC. It worked fine until he had the funds to finish his project.

well from what i've "heard" it's not good because it gives off harmful gasses when heated.. once again i've only heard this.

My dad has had PVC pipe on his talon running 20+ PSI on a 16g for well over 4 years. I would say it would hold up.

I'm not too worried about my engine getting sick from a few fumes.

I put a piece of PVC pipe in the oven, it started to soften up at about 225 degrees.

I did for a while actually. Have you ever put two of those pvc pipes together and glued them really good. You can take those things apart without breaking it. Held up really good for the piping I used up front and you can actully find some smooth bends. Just paint it and don't use it too close to the engine. late

PVC piping has really good bends and you can cement them togetheter and they will never blow apart, now I wouldn't use the whole intercooler piping it PVC but a couple bends would not hurt... tell me how it could hurt power... I know it costs 2 dollars but the stupid 45 degree silicone bends cost like $30 tell me what you would do for a spot that no one sees.

I'm not worried about anyone seeing it, just concerned about function. I'm going to try it from the intercooler to the throttle body. Think it might be a little too warm at the turbo outlet.

4" pvc for intake is just to big, 3" looks perfect

I used PVC, also, realized I forgot to mention it. Worked fine for over a year, just don't use it within a foot or so of compressor exit/manifold. Seems to deform slightly there.

FYI, **** PVC, it attracts every bit of dirt and grease underhood. I recommend cool, clean looking, grey ABS pipe. No significant price difference
