installing a tach
I got a question for you I have a 5" tach and I'm wondering what would be the best place to hook it up I wanna know if I should hook it up to the ecu tach wire inside the car or do it under the hood I think it would be easier for me to hook it up inside the car instead of going under the hood.
Also this is a 92 Accord with jdm h22a swap in it
And another quick question i'm getting a code 41 which is an oxygen sensor should I get a universal sensor which is cheaper or get the factory sensor?

The best place I've found to hook it up is a little spot right next to the Muffler Bearing Housing
If I'm correct your car already has a tach, why the **** do you want some big ******* tachometer (that's meant for old muscle cars which didn't come with tachs) staring you in the face??? Just so we can all make fun of you??? If that's the case, go ahead.

You can either run it to the ECU RPM Signal wire, or to the distributor signal wire. As far as the o2 sensor, a BOSCH replacment would work fine. I wouldn't recommend a universal because most universal o2 sensors aren't heated o2s.

Man, you guys suck! Hey man, install the biggest one you can find. Seriously though I have a 90 Accord with an H22 and my fuel cutoff is at the end of the tach and my redline is pretty close.
I know the stock tach gets pretty far off but does it get worse the closer you get to the end of the tach? If so, then an aftermarket more accurate tach could be really useful for those swapped Accords.

The only reason I got a tach is so I can no when I redline b/c I got a jdm h22a and I can relie on my stock tach. But thanks to ya'll all for ur help it's greatly appeciated

fabricate a SH cluster into the accord....that would be bad

Has this ever been done? Don't the Preludes have that weird long dash rather than a little sphere in front of the driver? That may make it completely impossible in the first place. Somebody give it a stab and let us know what you come up with.
