Default head bolt legth - are mine still good?

i'm in the process of changing my headgasket, 91 crx dx. the headbolts all measure 5.5 inches. i'd really rather not spend an extra $70 if i can help it; as it's only for the beater. so....
1. does anybody know the length from the factory?

2. are mine still ok to use or have they stretched?
thanks

a measuring tape doesnt count! lol

the "stretch" is like .2 mm if at all..nothing a tape will see thats for sure.

i think there is a spec to re-use head bolts once, just a higher trq #.

You mean OEM Head bolts. You can get away with re-tqing ARP head studs.

If this is the first time pulling it off, you need to get new head bolts period. I mean if you just pulled it off last week to take it to the machine shop, that's one thing.
