AAA Will I receive the power in LS?VTEC AAA
I am building a LS/Vtec for my 91 Integra. I Have a b18a1 block I am having dart sleves pressed into it. I have a ITR head right from the factory 0 miles with no cams but every thing else. I plan to get a mugen head gasket and JE 12.5:1 pistons. I also am going to get Eagle rods and Eagle Crank. MY ? is what type of cams should i get? What type of intake manifold should i get a ITR one or Aftermarket like a skunk2? And does this sound like a good setup?? And could i expect to 200 whp? ANY replies would be appreciated.
Your going to need tuning my friend with 12.5.1 compression, I suggest hondata. Why spend on that money on a eagle crank, mugen headgasket, waste of money. That headgasket won't even work unless you probably modify the hell out of it, and its just don't worth the risk of sealing issues.Just run the stock crank. Getting motor sleeved is probably overkill. Both manifolds flow pretty damn good, The skunk2 will flow better at higher rpm. Cams choice is unlimited skunk2,dynamic, buddy clubs cams seem to be the hot cams on the market right now, and they dont' cost a arm and leg. You also don't have to rev the **** out of them either to make good power. Use the search function my friend you will be surprised to all the info you find.

Those pistons might be overkill, you might want to go with CTR pistons. Skunk2 manifold is a knockoff of the ITR. Check out this manifold.. I want one bad. http://www.aebsracing.com/prod...ntake I've heard a lot of great things about AEBS manifolds. I also suggest you use ARP head/rod studs with your build. I'm a fan of CTR cams, but there a lot of different aftermarket cams out there. Use the search feature to find more information about cams. Make sure you run a good valvetrain with this setup also.

aw..yes. My first car
hence the screen name. Good luck with your build.

The reason i want to spend all this cash is cause i have nothing better to do with it and i want to be all the punks down the "ave" doggin honda. Plus i want to beat my buddys "88 Toyota Supra it got a turbo"
He doesnt like hondas. So what i got to do i will. I would have just gone to redshift for help. And my friends know nothing about Buliding Honda all most of my Buddys chevey pickup with lift.

But now that you DO have sleeves, put that money you spent to good use and open the holes to 84-85mm for a 2.0 liter bottom end. 200+WHP comes quite easily with a VTEC head on top of a 2.0 liter bottom end. And since you are already buying pistons, the additional expense of going 2.0 liters is minimal to nil.

Exactly. If you are gonna sleeve it you might as well go with 84 or 85mm to bump up your displacement.
If all you want is 12.5:1 all motor, you could build your complete setup for 1 or 2k less by using OEM pistons and sleeves. But with your sleeved bottom end you could slap on a nice 100shot of N2O or whatnot...

Perhaps he meant Darton?

I am thinking about bumping up the bore to 84. I've scratched that eagle crank and rod thing and i am think i my gunna get that crower stroker kit. with the 81 mm bore this will make the displacement 2.0 with the 84mm bore i think it will make it 2.1 or 2.2.
