I'm in the process of looking for a new trans. b/c mine blew a hole through the differential housing. Have any of you guys either replaced you're trannys or had them rebuilt? I'm not sure what i should buy in order to get it rebuilt....like should i get a limited slip while i get the whole trans built? give me some ideas or suggestions please.... thanx evan

 

yeah ive had tranny problems, i have a 95 gsr and my tranny is just all f'd up. my diff is shot. gears grinding and all that stuff. I just got my hands on a 99ls tranny for my car since im going turbo anyway. it only has 20K miles on it and cost me 500.00 for complete tranny.

 

evan as you know i also have had transmission problems you clown.my differential shattered in my y1 and poked all types of holes everywhere in the trans housing. but you know this.honda transmissions can handle over 6 million horsepower. oooo
