I Fail my Emissions....Please help.....
Today i took my car to do the Emissions check and i fail. I used Guaranteed Pass to the instructions exactly. I only run 92 octane fuel.
I just recently put in new,
Spark Plugs: and gaped em.
Cap
Rotor
Wires
PCV Valve
Oil
MTF
Seafoamed
Update*I put on a new fuel filter and also put the stock intake on. When i took the test this time they didn't make me turn the car off and on. I also mobbed the car before the test keeping the rpm high as much as possible. I still wonder why my Idle Emissions are so shity? Is it possible that my O2 Censor is going bad but the CEL is not coming on? Also when i drive my car has small backfires when i shift gears. Any input would be much appreciated. I have 2.5 in. pipe all the way back if that has anything to do with the backfires i would not be surprised and yes i know it's too big.*

Today I Passed

My Fail from Today.

Car passed 2 years ago, when it was not mine.
I have a CAI on it and when i go back to take the test again i'm putting on my stock intake on.
One thing the guy said at the Emissions is that it failed on the lean side and my co's were fine. I ordered a new fuel filter i'm picking it up tomorrow. It has never been changed and the car has 130,000 miles on it...Ouch.
Does anyone have any ideas on other things i can do to pass? Thank You in advance since i know HT will save my ***.
Update*50% Smaller Picts and no more VIN and Plate Number*

sry cant help but jsut wanna warn u bout ur VIN and plates on that paper better cover them up and resize and post the pic on here more ppl will reply
I could be reading the report wrong, but it looks like you have too high of an HC level, which means the cat isn't reducing it well enough. It might be time for a new cat. Though, if you're running rich, too rich for even the cat to clean up, then you'll have to fix that too, and running too rich can kill a cat.

Yeah many people said the O2 Censor needs to be changed if the car is outa wack air/fuel wise.

I really hope i don't have to get a new cat but i really think it should be running rich since all of my ignition stuff is new. If i fail again i might take it to a shop for like the first time ever.

I did run the car for a while before the test but i didn't mobb the car though, just normal driving below 4000 rpm.

This is going to kind of hokey BUT:
I have a friend who recommended this fuel additive...swore up and down that it worked...improved performance, improved gas mileage, also helps car pass smog.
He didn't pass used it drove around a half tank and tried it again and believe it or not it passed...cant explain it...call me a liar...i dont care...cause that's not what I'm saying...BUT I tried it...havent tried a smog test but I did notice someting...kinda of amazing... got a 97 GSR sedan...I used to get 231 miles on about 9.6 gallons. But after I tried this stuff...I got 297 miles and the car took 9.8 gallons...I dont think .2 gallons is going to get me an additional 66 miles... anyways...It's made by a quality company...I'm using their mtl in my tranny and it's awesome...
Oh... it's by a company called NEO...they make a lot of lubricants, engine, tranny, brake etc. NEO Gasoline Fuel Additive...but they dont sell it at a Pepboys...you gotta hunt for the stuff...
I was looking online for some sources and I found this on their website about a smog test also here's the link...I hope this works for cause it's ALOT cheaper than a new cat, or O2 sensor, or anything else

My '90 Integra failed at first and I just passed. I did all the things you have in your list plus the fuel filter. Do the fuel filter and it should help alot. I also took some advice from some other guys on the internet and added a bottle of HEET ($2) from Pep Boys to the 1/8 tank of gas I had when I got it inspected. I don't know if the fuel filter helped or the HEET did, but I passed easily. HEET is this fuel additive that takes water out of gas and helps with cold-startups in the winter. Try doing the filter and HEET and if that doesn't help (I think it will considering how close you are to passing) than move on to more expensive things like the O2 sensor and cat.

It doesn't make a difference as long as it is for your car. The Ebay one might not just have the plug on it so you'll have to cut and solder your old connector on (no big deal). Since you have a '92 and are OBDI your O2 is gonna be a bit expensive. Try what I suggested above first because if it was your O2 your emissions would be off by quite a bit more IMO.

Doh, that's what I meant, OBDI. I know it wasn't OBDO like my car though because those O2 sensors are dirt cheap. I get them for $20 at the local autoshop for my car.
As stated in the Update, Is it possible that my O2 Censor is going bad but the CEL is not coming on? Is there a way to find out? Help.
Ok, I am about to get my car smogged in VA, not as difficult as Cali so a plus. The problem is I have a B16 in a 90 CRX with Crower Stage II cams. I was thinking if I used this Heet stuff maybe I would be ok??? Any Thoughts????
No much of the fuel additives out there work except
for NOS octane booster. The racing formula knocked my hydrocarbons down 20 points to help me pass!!
