I want to take out my cd player so i can install an after market one, I done search, no helping info, also been to http://www.installdr.com
there is a 90-93 integra, which is different

I took out 2 screws on each side of the panel across from the side spearker, and it is not coming out...

I think you have to remove the lower console.. although I could be wrong. I remember the little black tray was a PITA to get out.

 

isn't it so un-Honda-like to have to remove the arm rest console just to remove the deck?

 

removing the console is what's hard, i can't seem to remove the panel.

i've done it so many times.. here you go

1) remove center console panels,
2) remove arm rest and lower portion of center console ( screw on back of Ashtray as well)
3) remove 2 screws that secure the head unit to the bracket on back of the head unit.
4) Make sure Shifter is in a rear positioned gear (2nd, 4th, reverse)
5) Disconnect antenna plug and harness on back ( remember to have security code for head unit ) and install new head unit with a new bracket.
