Default AEM EMS gurus... please look at my log

Here's some links to them. I'm having a problem where right at the end of 4th gear, the motor will fall on its face... the boost drops and I'm launched towards the dash for a slid second... and then it picks up again. I've logged some passes at the track when this has happened..... and I still ran a 10.9 @ 130

http://servion.cybercandy.org/080904_004.stf

If you look you can see the area where I was making the bas by the rpms. Right when I hit 7000 in 4th gear, you can see (if you zoom in) that the rpm's stay at 7k for a while and the fuel dips lean... but you can also see that the enging load drops and the fuel injector pulsewidth drops as well. But it passes it and all is well.

I had it recommended to me that I should try out a in line fuel pump... I've currently got a warlbro 255hp with a 12-gauge power wire ran directly to it from te battery.

how much gas did you have in the car. Intank pumps dont like to be at a 1/4 tank or less.

Yes... all the previous gears are OK, and it always happens at 7000. My theory is that its only 4th gear because that's where the most load is put on the motor thus far (highest gear, peak torque)

kinda hard to see whats going on... can you send me the cal file??

i dont think this is being caused by the ecu at all.. its something else.

is it repeatable? does it do it every time?

I had a similar problem and it was my coil. What kind of ignition are you running?

At the track, it happens every single pass in 4th gear at 7k rpm. I'm running a msd sci with an ngk 8-heat range plug gapped at 18 thousandths.

I have done a 4th gear pull and its hesitated, but I haven't done one since I've been working this problem so I don't know if it was at the same spot, or if was something else unrelated like a fouled plug.

Check and see if this happens at a certain speed. What version of the software are you using?

They used to have a speed bug in one of their versions that had similar affects. They "might" have a similar bug in their new version and you "might" be the first one to stumble upon it... Having said that, if this problem occurs at a specific speed, it "could" be bug related, or maybe some sort of VSS problem....

that bug was eliminiated in the latest firmware. there is a fix for the older stuff though.,... but it results in a fuel/ign cut, it wont cause what he was seeing.

he (servion) won the SFWD class sunday at bandimere (denver,CO) so it must be working

I tried to look at your log but its gone. Was the car going super lean right at the top? Adding fuel wouldn't help? Weird Ignition spikes at the same spot?

EDIT: nm re read your first post. I had the same problem.
