JDM B16 map sensor, EVAP q's
just comparing the d16 and the b16, there's no spot on the top of the b16 tb for the map sensor...and on the back of the manifold, there's no tap or hole for the evap...this has probably already been covered, but i can't find anything on it...
what do i do? just bypass them both? help!

Simple solution to both problems. For the evap, just buy a t-fitting and tap into the vacuum line for the fuel pressure regulator. Also, you'll see a port on the throttle body where the map sensor is on your stock motor. On older civics the map sensor is on the firewall, and connected to the TB by a vacuum hose. Just go the the junkyard and get any 88+ map, your stock wiring will plug right in. then just run a hose to the TB.
how can i tell if it's a first gen? it's a 5xxxx series block, and connected to a hydro tranny...what else tells? btw, i got the swap from jdmhondaparts...
oh yeah, it was supposed to be a 95 jdm b16, and i have a 94 civic w/d16z6.
and on the valve cover, the VTEC is bigger than DOHC...
...but on the throttle body, there is no hole on the top for the map sensor, but there is are two outlets, a larger one and a smaller one...does anyone have a good pic of what the top of a 2nd gen b16 tb looks like?
