Default Valve adjustment help??????

see sign for setup. i had to advance my cam 1 degree due to millng my head. my question is now that it is advanced do i need to put it back to 0 when i adjust my valves or should i just adjust them when it is at 1 degree advance. i would think that i would leave it at +1 and adjust them because that is where the cam is top dead now due to the mill. is this true????
