Springs/shock install on SH
I just purchesed some new springs and shocks for my 98 SH, but I have heard it can be a pain to get the rear strut in and out.... just looking for any pointers from anyone who has done this install prior to my starting.

you're gonna have to drop the top balljoint/castlenut out, and get the LCA and the rest of the suspension out of the way. it takes some maneuvering, but it's not impossible. You can also take the LCA out of the way by going to the subframe, which may be easier if your balljoint is being stubborn.

When doing the install on a friend's '98 SH, I jacked up the back end and then after removing the tires, unbolted the upper A-arm and swung it out of the way. Then unbolted the shock/spring combo up top, then from the lower control arm. After that I was able to maneuver the complete assembly out of the car without using a spring compressor.
Carefull not to scratch around the fender well.
