Which drain kit did you buy? The push fit or stainless steel?

I have the push fit drain line and it's hard to get on there but it should slide on with a little pursuasion...try putting a little oil around the end of the rubber and see if that helps...if you have the push fit that is

Try heating the rubber hose in boiling water, that may loosen it up so that it can be pushed over the fitting. Sorry if thats not the problem, I dont quite understand.

Use a clamp and lube up the ends while carefully pushing them on...clamp definitely helps.

Stan used to have a how-to section on his old website. Maybe if you email him for help he can send you those instructions.

Thanks guys. I'll have to try the lube. Everything works a bit better with a bit of lube .

Wrap masking tape around the line before you cut it, the cut the section to length in the middle of the tape, then put some oil on it. Put the fitting in a vise and push the hose into it. Twisting the hose as you push helps as well.
