Default msd ignition coil

I have a 2000 Ls and as u know it...the engine distributor is internal...now do they make internal distributor cap for this so it can be connected to a msd ignition blaster or do i have to convert the internal to external...i've been looking around but haven't come across anything about internal distributor cap yet??help!!

dude there is no such thing as a internal distributor cap. Hondas have internal coils not distributor caps. I know what ur trying to say. What u want to do is use a msd cap with a msd external blaster coil. youll need to

1. remove stock cap and internal coil
2. extened the coil wires
3. run the wires to the blaster coil
4. install the msd cap ( make sure to file a little notch in it for the wires to fit through then silicone around the notch)

Instead of messing with the wires inside the cap...why not just splice into them before they even go into the distributor?

well u can do that too. ur gonna have to remove the stock + and - wires from the stock coil anyways, so most people just extend those wires. u could probably just cut the + and - wires after u remove the coil and tape them up. then just use the wires outside the distributor so u dont have to drill a hole in the cap. i drilled a hole in mine

just do something like how mine is set up...

Bypass the distributor completely by connecting at the outside

No holes there

Aluminum bracket/plate where everything is mounted.
