hit a curb, got a few questions......
ok so i drive a 90 si hatch bla bla bla.......i was going around a cul-de-sac thing and ended up hitting a curb at prolly 5-10mph being an idiot......but anyways i replaced the blown tire on my driver side and the all but blown one on the pass. side.......the car drives straight and doesnt shake, but everytime i make a turn (left especially) my tires squeel like i was doin a burn out or cornering at 30+......i just wanted to get a few ideas, i mean obiously it could be the lca or any of the suspension components......but it only is affected when i turn so i figured it could be narrowed to a few things???
the car seems to be fine other than the squeeling, and i took a quick measurement of the tires from the fender to the tire and they are pretty damn close, both tires hith though so i suppose it could have bent them the same??? either way it doesnt seem close enough to make them hit the fenders during a turn.....i know it could be many things but im just trying to see if anyone has had somewhat of the same experience and what they found it was.....thanks for the help in advance

i hit a curb doing 110-115 comming down an over pass bent rim tire was missing a chunk 185/65/15s also cracked the curb
suspension wise everything looks ok my car drives straighter after I hit the curb but I got my toe fixed I think it went off spec..

ok well anybody have any ideas? im not sure what would make them squeel when i turn, i was thinking that it would be in my steering somewhere???? id like to know so i can fix it be4 work tomorrow.....
I had a wreck in my 90Si. the other car it the rim. the rim was fine and the tire was fine but the spindle was bent. when I turned the wheel the trie squealed b/c the camber was wayyy out of specs. i woudl check that out

hmm lets see i spun out doing 75 hit a curb witht he driver side and ripped my rim in half...the LCA was barely bent BUT where it connects not to the knuckle but to the rear crossmember look where it connects there cause it mighyt have a slight rinkle in the metal now meaning you bent that so you would need a new one...so check the rear cross member yours might be slightly bent and might be hard to tell but compare it to the other side..the only reason i could tell is because i hit about 9 times faster then you did but check that cause it have a light crumple factor so you dont bend your frame i bet you its that.....goodluck
wheel baring wouldnt throw the alignment off like that and plus you would hear it clicking like a cv joint cause it would be at an angle and eat the bearing up quick...
