Default hondata s200b question

when i bought my hondata s200 with boost options
i was wondering when i install it do i have to retard timing
or does the stock base program retard timing already?

Not necessairly. You have to set it to about 16 degrees base timing. Your tuner should do the rest with the ROMeditor program.

I think the way it worked, we set the dizzy idle timing to as much retard as possible. Then you can change the timing per rpm from the software.

Same as the FPR.

Make sure the actual timing and the timing that you set in the software are the same. Check your timing with an accurate timing light and then make the necessary adjustments if the timing is not on the desired mark.
