b16a3 built block swaped in, stuck in gimp mode now? :(
I have a 94 eg2 with a factory b16a3 motor in it, we just swapped the block out with another built b16a3 with a few miles on it, and now i'm stuck in gimp mode. we didn't change anything else. at first it was throwing ecu codes of 10 and 16, IAT and injectors, then i fidgited with the ecu wires (kind of messy) and it stopped throwin anythin, sounds like i guess it should, but i can't rev above 3500rpm's, it sounds like a fuel cut. we dont' know whats going on. anybody have this experience before? could it be a shot ECU? lost tune?
i neeeeeeeed to knooooooow ,i feel so gimpyyyyyyyyy
please help meeeeee, its tuned all the way to 12psi, i have a 1 bar map, but i can't even get above 3500rpm *cries* i just want to feel what everyone' sbeen talking about

no, i checked that just to be sure eventhough i knew it wasn't that, because my map sensor plug has a broken clip when i had a missing link on it, so i have to tape it to secure it on.
also, i wanted to be 100% sure those CEL codes really did go away, but come to find out, the wire came out of the plug, so i jumped it again with the wire, and now the same CEL codes come back on, 10 and 16.
i DO have a VAFC on there, and it may be weird wiring, i'm wondering if thats causing it, also the vafc screen isn't coming on, but the buttons light up. :-\

actually, i didn't feel ****, my clutch is slipping like mad cause we spilled oil on it. it was a loose harness under the hood. it wasn't completely off, or even visibly off, just needed to be pressed in real good, dont' know which one. but last night i was driving and my car cut off, i had to go through and retighten them again, and it started back up
