Can I do this? What main bearings do i use? Ummm. Thats it. Thanks!

Yes you can do this no problem. Use a6 rod and main bearings.

compression will be substaincialy higher, wow i cant spell. a6 had domed pistons

they arent domed, they actually have a slight dish. But it is considerably less than a d16y8 piston.
