Was beating on my car for a while, started cruising at about 80, came to a stop and when I went to go and take off again, I hear a loud noise when the clutch was depressed in

Now when Im sistting here at home with the car idling you can hear this noise like a medium sized rock inside of a tin can, but when you push the clutch to the floor it gets ******* way louder.

To me it sounds like its coming from the head, but its really to loud to pinpoint it

What is it? Something fucked?

 

clutch throwout bearing.

 

yeha it sounds like clutch chatter to me, tou need ot replace the throwout bearing whi isnt all that hard if you have a transmission jack

 

Bearings in ur gearbox, i had the same problem, when i put my foot on the clutch rattling, and at low revs on decel ihad it too, a wierd noise, had to replace the bearings, ouch expensive
